King Kylie is ready to take over the world. The almost-billionaire mogul signs one huge deal after another on a daily basis. And there’s nothing that turns fans more on than a collaboration by their favorite celebrity. If you are team Kylie, you’ll be more than happy to hear that the reality star is the new official Adidas ambassador.
Every single brand out there is trying to come up with something new and fresh to present its goodies in an innovative way. Kanye West, on the other hand, is not a person who needs a special strategy to sell his designs. All he has to do is include his mega-popular wife in his campaigns. This has proven to be the best marketing move for the rapper/entrepreneur/designer on so many occasions, so he went for it once again.
Designer Virgil Abloh who succeeded Kim Jones as the menswear artistic director at Louis Vuitton staged his first show for the fashion house in Paris. The designer was welcomed in the Louis Vuitton team back in March. This is his first collection for the infamous brand and fans couldn’t wait to see in which direction Abloh will take Louis Vuitton. His brand Off-White has already won the hearts of the street crowd.
Virgil Abloh was brought to the French fashion house to offer a fresh perspective on the brand’s aesthetic. The Spring/Summer 2019 menswear collection felt youthful and energetic. The show started with an array of all-white looks. Virgil managed to put together endless variations of monochromatic outfits that looked polished yet cool and street-ready. There was a head-to-toe white look paired with red gloves that announced the colorful part of the collection. Models in beige and pastel green ensembles hit the runway, some of them wearing occasional hints of color in the form of accessories. Somewhere in the middle of the show, electric pieces started parading on the runway. From neon yellow, bold orange, bright red to explosive tie-dye patterns, Virgil Abloh relied on maximalism at its best.
The Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2019 is one diverse lineup. Virgil played with everything from tailoring to oversized street-ready silhouettes. The A-list audience that included Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Kylie Jenner, Travis Scott, Bella Hadid and more were impressed by Virgil’s debut collection and gave him a standing ovation. A number of women on the front row flaunted Virgil’s new designs. Kanye West who also sat front row got very emotional and congratulated Virgil as he took his final walk burying his head in his neck. They were both spotted wiping tears. Virgil Abloh is a long-time friend of Kanye West and the creative collaborator of his brand Yeezy.
Louis Vuitton is a fashion house praised for its accessories. This show once again cemented the brand’s status as an accessory force on the high-end market. In his debut collection for Louis Vuitton, among other things, Abloh focused on reimagining classic accessories such as wallets and begs. He showcased “accessomorphosis” which according to the designer are hybrids of accessories and garments.
Virgil Abloh definitely offered a fresh perspective on the Louis Vuitton‘s menswear pieces with his first collection for the brand. From minimalist staples to millennials’ favorites, the Spring/Summer 2019 lineup has it all.
Take a moment to remember the girly Taylor Swift with romantic curls and innocent face because she doesn’t look like that anymore. The mega-popular singer flaunted a completely different style on her new album cover. The upcoming “Reputation” brings a gothic Taylor Swift. She dropped the first single from the album, called “Look What You Made Me Do,” on Thursday night. The album is scheduled to release on November 10. Taylor wanted to entertain her loyal fans until the big day comes. She released a merch line inspired by the new album and the items are already available to pre-order.
The “Reputation” collection features 11 items so far. Among the pieces, there is a T-shirt with the album’s cover and an embroidered wool gray hat that has “Rep” on it. On the cover next to Taylor Swift’s face there are lyrics written with a gothic font. Many people on the internet claim that Swift took style cues from Kanye West for her new merch line. Fans of the rapper say that the pieces from Swift’s collection remind of Kanye’s Yeezy fashion line as well as “Life of Pablo” clothing pieces. The font used on the cover and on the pieces from the line is the same as the one Kanye used in the “Life of Pablo” merch.
Besides the T-shirts with the album cover, there is a sweatshirt, hoodie, rings and a phone stand. The pieces feature Taylor Swift’s face or lyrics from the album. The t-shirts retail between $45 to $50.There is a black hoodie with a snake at the front and the singer’s name together with the album’s name printed on one of the sleeves. One of the most noticeable pieces is the white sweatshirt with “rep” on it written with the same gothic font. The pieces sell for $75 and $65 respectively.
Taylor Swift’s massive snake rings are made to make a statement. The rings come in 3 colors: rose, gold, and silver. They are covered in rhinestones and retail for $60.
The singer also released a Target exclusive for the new album. The set includes two magazine covers, paintings, poems, fashion portraits and “16 Pages of Handwritten Lyrics by Taylor Swift”.
The pieces from Taylor Swift’s merch line may be a bit pricier, but they would make a perfect gift for the loyal Swifties. The singer announced that every purchased item will get fans closer to tour tickets.

Kim Kardashian sure knows how to burn the internet. In her latest photo shoot for Interview’s September issue, the reality star channeled Jackie Kennedy Onassis. Kim also posed with her adorable daughter North West. The magazine calls Kim the American Dream and America’s First Lady. As expected the interview sparked controversy, but Kim Kardashian is most certainly used to it.
Kim is undeniably one of the most famous women in the world. She is one of the highest-paid celebrities who managed to earn unbelievable 14 million dollars in only minutes after the launch of her eponymous beauty brand. Anyway, Kim thinks people don’t give her enough recognition. The reality star admitted that she didn’t mind being underestimated in the past, but after 10 years in the business, she deserves a bit of recognition.
“You can say a lot of things about me, but you cannot say I don’t work hard. I don’t sing. I don’t dance. I don’t act. But I am not lazy,” Kim Kardashian tells Interview.
Kim Kardashian recreated Jackie O’s most iconic looks flaunting a bouffant wig and opera-length gloves. In the pictures, you can see Kim wearing Jackie’s signature pillbox hats as well as some of her most memorable outfits. The images are taken by Steven Klein at The National Art Club in New York City. Steven Klein and Kim certainly know how to put on a show. The same photographer was behind Kim’s full frontal nude pictures for Love Magazine’s February 2015 issue. The controversial pictures were in the center of the media attention. Steven Klein explained that every time he and Kim work together they have a different approach.
“We have no desire to repeat ourselves or reference anything she has done previously,” the photographer added.
The reality star proved that she can get all the attention both naked and fully covered. North West also stars in the latest Interview’s editorial. She wears her hair in double buns and rocks many cute dresses. Her brother Saint who is 20 months old didn’t appear in the pictures. Kim shared that she and her infamous husband Kanye West have strict rules about their kids on camera. She also added that they live a very normal life at home.
Kim Kardashian once again outdid herself. After all, being the America’s first lady without a president husband is kind of a big deal.

The New York Fashion Week has lost many big names recently, but Kanye West will most certainly keep Yeezy in the States. So far Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Altuzarra and Thom Browne left the New York Fashion Week to show their collections in Europe. Among the brands who decided to stay faithful to Manhattan are Marc Jacobs, Rihanna’s Fenty x Puma, Tom Ford and Calvin Klein. All these brands will show their Spring 2018 Collections during the New York Fashion Week in September.
Details have yet to be confirmed, but sources say that Kanye West is negotiating with the CFDA to find a spot on the spring 2018 calendar for his sixth Adidas x Yeezy collection. Considering Kanye West’s initial decision from last year to show outside of the fashion week, we still can’t say anything for sure. The rapper turned designer caused major controversy last year when he scheduled his show in a time slot that belonged to Marchesa. The CFDA was very mad and Kanye had to move his show by two hours to avoid further conflict.
Kanye West’s shows have always been controversial. Additionally, they attract a lot of attention. If he decides to stay in town for the sixth Yeezy collection, the show will probably be one of the most anticipated shows on the New York Fashion Week. Kanye’s previous shows switched several different locations through the years. The show for Season 3 took place at the Madison Square Garden where the rapper also presented his album. The spectacle for Season 4 was held on Roosevelt Island, while the last show was an intimate experience at Pier 59 Studios. All Yeezy Shows have been high-profile events.
Kanye West has also shown his collections in the City of Lights. The rapper showed his debut collection under the Kanye West Label at the Lycée Henri IV in Paris in 2012. He also showed one more collection of his eponymous brand in Paris before Yeezy with Adidas was born.
So far, Kanye West, a representative of the brand and the CFDA refused to give any additional comments and confirm the information. Anyway, considering the fact that Kanye is in the talks with the CFDA, most certainly Yeezy will stay in New York.
The Milan-based founder of the celebrity-approved label Off-White and Kanye West’s creative director presented his Resort 2018 collection at his showroom in Milan. Millenial chic mixed with the call of the nature vibes were the main elements of his latest collection. The designer Virgil Abloh has a lot of things going on for the brand. Namely, he presented the women’s Resort 2018 Collection just 48 hours after he showed his men’s collection that was accompanied by a beautiful performance by the artist Jenny Holzer. Also, a couple of days ago it was announced that Virgil will soon open his first NYC store. Abloh signed a five-year ground floor lease for 2,500 square feet space in Soho. Probably his cooperation with West since 2002 raised the interest of the American audience for his designs.
For the Resort 2018 Collection, the designer created youthful designs embracing the beauty of the wilderness. He used fabrics and motives that have a strong naturalistic touch. With this collection, Abloh believes that he walked the brand into a new phase.
“It’s looking like a regular brand, but the ideas are all still underneath,” the designer explained.
The palette of the collection was dominated by a variety of green tones. Part of the designs such as the mesh shorts and jacket coordinates and the lace maxi dresses with mixed fabrics had a strong rustic feel.
Abloh embraced the sheer trend that is popular lately with multiple pieces. The most daring designs were the green lace corset dress and the brown completely see-through lace t-shirt. The designer paired the elegant t-shirt with satin sporty pants and sneakers. The outfit was a clear sign that the athleisure trend will continue to take over the streets.
The Off-White Resort 2018 Collection featured a lot of asymmetric designs that added a dose of playfulness to the entire collection.
The designer didn’t miss the chance to add a couple of pieces in the hottest color of the season. The fuchsia-hued pieces and details added a refreshing note to the green and white tones that dominated the collection. Speaking of bright colors, we have to mention the youthful white and blue asymmetric stripe pieces that are the highlight of the collection.
Even the elegant pieces carried a dose of edginess. It’s impossible to link Virgil Abloh to the mainstream. His designs are simply one of a kind.

Kanye West wants to make certain that people have plenty of options when it comes to wearing his brands. Now the famous rapper is debuting his own jewelry collection. The Yeezy jewelry collection was done in collaboration with Jacob Arabo, also widely known as Jacob the Jeweler, yielding 12 pieces that were clearly inspired by the Florentine art of the 14th century.
The reason for the source of inspiration, according to Kanye is simple. “I wanted to create something that represented timeless love,” he explained.
Donatello’s bas-relief portraits are widely considered to be classically romantic. Each pendant and medallion is in this style, and we have known for years that this style has appealed to Kanye: one of his famous pendants from back in the day was a religious piece in the same style.
Anyone who saw the Yeezy Season 4 or Season 5 runway shows saw the pieces, as they were also worn during the presentation. Though not his first foray into accessories, this is Kanye’s first attempt at a jewelry collection.
Based on the success of his sneakers and other collections, this shouldn’t be a problem. Kanye has a pretty loyal fanbase who are quick to jump in and buy his merchandise, however, the price tag here may be an impediment. Each piece of jewelry will range in cost from $3000 to $12,000 putting the pieces firmly out of reach for many, even as a luxury purchase.
Kanye West’s Yeezy jewelry is for sale on the Yeezy online store currently. Unlike his sneakers, which sell out in a blink, these may take a bit longer to move out. The textured pieces certainly have the work put in, with the faces standing out in relief or shaped were necessary. Not only is he selling the pendants and medallions, but also rings as well as bracelets, and apparently more will be coming along the way in the future. The pieces are 18-karat yellow gold and worth every single penny.
Just to show the world that the pendants can be realistically styled and just because she wanted to, Kim K has been wearing the pendants as well, sometimes in layers, to events and just out and about. She has even worn them to the MTV Video Music Awards last year in August.
Though the man is clearly happy to be branching out – stepping into areas he hasn’t before and clearly finding and meeting plenty of success, he doesn’t intend to stop, and he tells us this all the time. The pieces can be seen, modeled in black sand, and purchased on the yeezysupply.com website by reaching out to Jacob and Co, or Jacob the Jeweler to get their own Yeezy pendent.

For those who have been anxiously anticipating the Yeezy Calabasas collection from Kanye West will certainly be pleased to find out that items are being revealed and some are nearly available for purchase. If you have been waiting in anticipation, it is certainly understandable for the level of hype that some are expecting.
The constant teasing over the last few months by both Kanye West and Kim Kardashian in a clear effort to keep bait on the hook seems to have paid off. Several people are already excitedly warning others to check their social media for new images as soon as their new orders come in.
The Yeezy Calabasas collection includes hats and socks, track pants and sweat shirts and, of course, the new Adidas. The new Adidas, called the Powerphase sneaker, are if nothing else fresh, clean and classic. Everyone loves a good set of Adidas anyway, so this is no surprise.
The Yeezy Calabasas sweatshirt will come in black with grey lettering on the sleeves, white with black lettering on the sleeves or burgundy with red lettering on the sleeves. The lettering will spell Calabasas lest anyone makes the mistake of not realizing that your sweatshirt cost multiple hundreds of dollars.
The track pants will come in a matching pair for the burgundy and red and black and grey sweatshirts, with the other being blue with burgundy detailing. There is even a pin for those who like to add things to backpacks and jackets. The details are concise, leaning only into the Calabasas name and variations of the color schemes with a few sporty stripes.
The Yeezy Calabasas collection is easygoing in design and minimalist in options leading to questions about the delay. It is definitely homage to the past with the elastic, gathered ankles of the track pants and the same treatment to the hem of the sweatshirt and the wrists. Depending on your love for the old school Hip Hop, breakdancing and beatboxing aesthetic, this collection could hold more than just an ‘in now’ appeal for certain individuals.
The price point is consistent with the previous offerings Kanye has released, with the Calabasas sweatshirt alone clocking in at $200 retail. Just the sweatshirt, not the whole look! Though the collection could arguably be considered as unisex clothing, in the photos for Surface Mag both A$AP Nast and Ganna Bogdan, the pieces look more like a couple coordinated set of ensembles.
The Yeezy Calabasas collection is cobranded by Adidas and more details are available upon request (by signing up for news updates) via yeezyzuppy.com. The website itself is as minimalist as the designs so it will be interesting to see where things will go from here and if the promised kids line will be making an appearance soon as well.
