Giorgio Armani surprised with an elegant, feminine Spring 2018 collection during Milan Fashion Week. For the following season, the Italian designer introduced a softer and youthful side of his work.
And while everyone is focusing on what Millennials love to wear, Giorgio stayed faithful to what he does best. Prada and Burberry might be shifting towards athleisure, but that wasn’t the case with Armani. Elegance and perfected glamour stayed a part of the designer’s latest presentation. The only thing that felt different was the lack of power suits. This time he created a collection of classy but fierce designs. So, the absence of power sits was barely noticeable.
Colors were beautiful and vivid. Armani forgot about the dark and dull shades and brought a lot of freshness with the real hues of spring. The most elegant color in fashion, black, wasn’t left out of the line. The pieces were spiced up with sequins, pom poms, and floral prints. The entire collection was bright and electric.
The event took a bold start with floral designs. The floral print was seen in coats, sheer tops, dresses, and blazers. There were also a lot of graphic elements, that looked very much like pop art inspired by iconic artists such as Joan Miro and Gustav Klimt.
Armani’s signature tailoring was a part of the designs but done on looser, more relaxed silhouettes. Confident suits took a small portion of the Spring 2018 collection. The pants were shiny and silver, while blazers were check and oversized.
The Spring 2018 collection has a dynamic nature. The shoes, accessories, hairstyles, and makeup carried a playful vibe. The models’ hair was styled in a daring pixie cut. Opposite of the feminine collection, the hairstyles carried a masculine vibe. Giorgio’s goal was to present positive collection and designs that are meant for all women.
“I don’t see the point in showing sad women on the runway. Just because it’s a sad moment, there’s no reason to do this.”- Armani said.
It felt refreshing to watch Giorgio Armani’s spring offerings. Although what he does best is suits, the relaxed, feminine version of Armani is also stunning. We wouldn’t mind more such collections with eye-popping prints and impressive designs.

The London Fashion Week has officially ended. We had an exciting fashion week with multiple opulent shows. London welcomed some big names for the first time. The Italian designer Giorgio Armani swapped Milan for London this season. He presented a massive Spring 2018 Collection with a variety of power suits. The suits with confident cuts are among the biggest highlights from the LFW.
Opposite of Emporio Armani’s androgynous power suits, Erdem presented out-of-this-world elegant dresses that radiate femininity. Moralioglu’s spring 2018 offerings had a strong royal vibe. He designed a sophisticated collection available to everybody. Erdem’s dresses are among the best offerings from the spring shows so far.
We must also mention Ralph & Russo‘s feminine dresses. The designer duo left everyone in awe with their debut ready-to-wear collection. Tamara and Michael’s idea for RTW dressing involves a bit of couture. We are talking about sheer fabrics, heavy embellishments, and metallic designs. Ralph & Russo’s spring dresses are a must-have for every fashion-forward lady who nurtures an elegant style.
Tommy Hilfiger made an opulent closure of the LFW. The American designer together with the supermodel Gigi Hadid presented a 90s-inspired collection with a strong grunge vibe. The pieces carried Hilfiger’s love for rock music. Edgy designs, red tartan and black leather dominated in the see now, buy now, Fall 2017 Collection.
Donatella Versace had a similar idea for her Versus Versace Spring 2018 collection. Her latest designs featured a lot of checks and graphics. The designer truly understands the fashion DNA of the young generations. As a result to that, she offered casual but edgy pieces. Her Spring 2018 collection is all about making a statement without trying too hard.
Feast your eyes on the best runway looks from the SS 2018 LFW.

The Italian-born Giorgio Armani this season swapped Milan for London. The designer had a very good reason to show his collection during London Fashion Week. He was celebrating the opening of the revamped Emporio Armani store on Bond Street. To present the Spring 2018 collection the designer occupied a luxury venue at Tobacco Dock on River Thames. Giorgio showed both his men’s and women’s collections.
Giorgio Armani’s collections are always classic but unique. Lately, is hard to find good chinos. But Giorgio Armani offered a lot of well-cut chinos for men and women. The Emporio Armani RTW Spring 2018 Collection has plenty of suits and formal wear.
Giorgio designed power suits even when they weren’t as popular as now. For more than 30 years the Italian designer offers tailored to perfection suits for ladies. The Emporio Armani Spring 2018 Collection is full of androgynous smartly cut suits that stand for intelligent femininity. Emporio Armani has a lot of options for the businesswomen. That’s why Giorgio is equally loved by men and women when it comes to power dressing. Besides classic cuts colored in pastels, the designer showed attention-grabbing patterned ensembles for the most daring ladies.
Anyway, at the Emporio Armani 2018 Spring show, it wasn’t only about suits. Giorgio Armani added a dose of athleisure in some of his spring offerings. Seeing athleisure pieces by Giorgio Armani felt refreshing. The designer brought two big trends in this collection: the athleisure trend and the sheer trend. Anyway, Giorgio Armani’s designs are never passé. He is one of the few designers that have the power to create timeless pieces with the latest trends in mind.
As always, the designer showed a massive collection. Spectators had a chance to enjoy more than 100 mesmerizing looks that were presented on the runway. Not that you need an excuse to visit the renewed Emporio Armani store on Bond Street, but now is the perfect time to visit London if you aren’t British. The value of the British pound is significantly lower compared with the euro and the dollar. So, you can use this situation as an excuse to shop in England.
Emporio Armani Spring 2018 Collection will most certainly be the first place to look at if you are craving for a killer suit. No matter if you are a man or woman, Giorgio Armani has a lot of everything for everybody.

We are having a busy fashion September. The SS 2018 New York Fashion Week officially ended on Wednesday and the London Fashion Week is about to start tomorrow. Since the LFW is just a day away, it’s time to see what’s going to happen on one of the biggest European fashion events. First things first, the LFW will start on Friday, September 15 and it will last until Tuesday, September 19. The LFW is a first look at what we are going to wear from some of our favorite European brands in the upcoming spring. The biggest British brands, as well as a couple of international fashion houses, will present their spring/summer 2018 collections. The most popular names on the schedule are Christopher Kane, Topshop, Erdem, and Burberry. Additionally, Ralph and Russo will present their debut ready-to-wear collection.
The most anticipated international show on the SS 2018 LFW is the American brand, Tommy Hilfiger. The brand will present the latest collaboration with the infamous supermodel Gigi Hadid. The show is intentionally scheduled on Tuesday, September 19, which is the last day of the LFW. This is going to be Tommy Hilfiger’s first fashion show in England. Another huge newbie on the schedule is Giorgio Armani. The Italian designer will present his Emporio Armani spring collections in London for the first time. The reason why Giorgio Armani left Milan Fashion Week is the opening of the renovated Bond Street flagship store in London. The grand opening will happen on Sunday, September 17.
The see-now, buy-now instant fashion concept is getting more and more popular. The British luxury fashion authority Burberry will present a collection that will be available for purchase immediately after the designs hit the runway. The high streetwear label Topshop and Mother of Pearl also arrange their collections according to this fast fashion concept. With the rise of social media, many fashion addicts want to shop right after they see the pieces. We can’t blame them. Honestly is hard to see something on your news feed every day and wait for months to put your hands on it.
Among the new names on LFW are Harry Evans, Supriya Lele, Charlotte Knowles, Matty Bovan, Sadie Williams, Molly Goddard, Halpern and more. Talent supporters Lulu Kennedy and NewGen will run the events of the newbies. Everyone who wants to see the next big name in the British fashion industry should attend some of these shows.
The iconic Giorgio Armani, after 40 years in the business, still manages to make his clean and tailored cuts look new and desirable. The designer once again showed his signature style in the Resort 2018 Collection but in a slightly different way from what everyone is used to.
In this collection, everything looked more youthful and more fun, but with a strong indication: “this is Armani”. The designs carry bright colors and light feel. They look very sophisticated and modern, perfect for both evening and everyday occasions. The whole perception indicates that Giorgio wanted to wander outside of his comfort zone for the Resort 2018 Collection.
Magenta, mint green, bright pink, gray and dark blue are the colors that are a present in the collection. You can see a variety of fabrics and patterns such as chiffon, silk, sequins, and organza. The line offers a lot of youthful separates with a strong dose of elegance.
Dresses are available in many shapes and colors. Several evening dresses are definitely the most beautiful part of the collection. One of them is the short-sleeved long pink dress, embellished with transparent crystals in the upper part. The dress features a black belt with unconventional bow, placed in the center. Another eye-catching design is the knee-length dramatic black dress with multiple layers and beautiful embroidery in the upper part.
The casual dresses are perfect for business women. Their simple design offers comfort while their noticeable fabrics make them a must-have for every fashion-forward woman.
The collection features beautiful jackets. The bright red long jacket is a travel-approved essential. The jacket is perfectly matched with a multicolored pleated skirt. Another very unique piece is the short jacket with astonishing embroidery that features flower motives and moon patchwork.
The graphics that are present on some of the designs are inspired by Joan Mirò and his work. Joan was a Spanish artist that created artwork that belongs to the surrealistic genre. The graphic designs feature many colors and irregular shapes. You can see them on a simple silk jacket and a mini dress. The silk jacket looks gorgeous paired with a black and mint pleated skirt and strappy flat sandals in the same colors. What makes the whole look pop is the stunning multicolored bag.

The Giorgio Armani Charmani spring/summer 2017 makeup collection is designed to go in conjunction with the fashion collection. During Milan Fashion Week in September 2016, when Giorgio Armani presented his runway for the Charmani spring/summer 2017 collection, the makeup shown was the same that was used on the models on the runway. The collection is actually already available for purchase right now at Giorgio Armani Beauty and other select markets as well, including Nordstrom, Harrods and Saks Fifth Avenue.
As with all makeup, this collection by Giorgio Armani is designed to enhance the natural beauty of a person’s face. The collection is designed to showcase a delicacy in the features of the person wearing them.
To tie the Giorgio Armani Charmani spring/summer 2017 makeup collection in perfectly with the runway fashion counterpart, each item in the collection comes encased in a custom pouch created with the fabric of one of the looks from the runway. The material is iridescent, shimmering with a silvery and blue toned sheen and a drawstring.
Let’s take a look at the collection below and see what it includes!
Giorgio Armani Runway Face & Eyes Palette SS 2017 ($120.00)
The Runway Face & Eyes Palette is just as beautiful on the outside as the products are on the inside. The palette features two different sections that hold products and a nice size mirror as well. The outside has the same beautiful shimmering and iridescent blue print that the pouch is made of, solidifying the experience of the packaging.
The top section of the palette houses the bronzing face powder, pressed with the necessities in the formula for a healthy, summery complexion and the Armani Runway logo. Housed in the second section below are three eyeshadow shades that perfectly complement the runway collection.
The shades – cobalt blue, which has been running the trends for deep strong color, pastel pink and deep dreamy black, are set above the applicators. The compact closes smoothly and easily, perfect for being on the go.
Giorgio Armani Runway Eye Tint Eyeshadow ($42.00)
The Giorgio Armani Runway Eye Tint eyeshadow has an incredibly bright vivid cobalt blue shade. As one of the products in the collection, it also comes in a beautiful themed pouch and box that match the collection. The shadow is easy to blend and can be built upon to enhance the look.
Giorgio Armani Runway Ecstasy Lacquer Lip Gloss ($40.00)
The Ecstasy Lacquer Lip Gloss is ideally pigmented and has a high shine that can ideally promote the ‘no makeup’ makeup look. The lip-gloss can be layered for intensity and even used as a top coat for other Armani lipsticks for a high shine look on any color, deep or light.

The Giorgio Armani Life Is a Cruise summer 2017 makeup collection is ideal for anyone looking to protect their skin while still thoroughly enjoying the summer sun. The collection features powders pressed with waves, SPF bearing primers and bronzers and amazing eye makeup options. It’s a great collection with excellent options that you can get from Giorgio Armani Beauty, Nordstrom, Harrods and Saks Fifth Avenue. Check the products out below!
Giorgio Armani Sunrise Bronzer
The Armani Sunrise Bronzer is a blend of four bronzer shades, layered in an ombre style in a single round compact. The bronzer powder is pressed into the style of a wave. It is a an artistic and beautiful way to present a bronzer and the ultra fine pressed powder provides not just a touch of color, but a twinkling shimmer to skin as well.
Giorgio Armani Sunset Smoky Eye Palette
The sunset smoky eye palette looks beautiful and artistic even in the mini compact. The highlighter, deep golden shade of bronzer and nighttime charcoal eyeshadow provide a shimmering set of shadows all cleverly presented in a small palette. The eye-catching design of a wave is pressed right into the powder in keeping with the Life Is A Cruise theme.
Giorgio Armani Maestro Liquid Summer ($64.00)
The Armani Maestro Liquid Summer is a liquid bronzer infused with broad spectrum SPF 15 in three different shades to provide you with a summery glow. This is a seasonal product at $64, but will work beautifully when paired with the Maestro UV.
Giorgio Armani Maestro UV Skin Defense Primer ($64.00)
The Skin Defense primer is a must this summer – with a broad spectrum SPF 50 built in, even the most sensitive skin will be well protected from the sun. Another benefit of this primer is the infusion of fillers that behave like natural collagen and a several antioxidants to further boost the health of your skin. Even better the primer is transparent, which means it can be worn to combat environmental pollutants and the sun alone or under makeup.
Giorgio Armani Eye Tint ($39.00)
Armani eye tints come in five strong shades that are all incredible for several reasons. The formula for each tint provides the brilliance and staying power of a high quality ink but with the creamy feel for 16 hours of wear with no smudging and no creases.
Giorgio Armani Eye and Brow Maestro ($35.00)
The eye and brow maestro comes in shades that work like a charm as a contouring shade, eyeshadow and eyeliner. There will be new shades revealed and each one will benefit from the 20-hour wear formula that boasts a waterproof finish.
Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Proliner ($35.00)
Eyeliner is my favorite makeup tool; I love the drama and power a good bold eye can create just as much as a subtle boost your lashes and gaze get from a thin, careful application. The Armani Eyes to Kill Proliner is a deeply pigmented matte finish eyeliner.
The formula is water based and designed to create a long-lasting matte finish that will stay put for at least 12 hours. The professional applicator tip helps to create the perfect line, no matter what style of line that may be with an easy but precise application.

Couturier Giorgio Armani, who showcased his Emporio Armani fall 2017 rtw collection earlier last week at Milan Fashion Week, unveiled his Giorgio Armani fall/winter 2017-18 ready-to-wear collection too, just a few hours ago, focusing on “variety as a form of contemporary consistency.”
Like colleague Donatella Versace, Italian designer Giorgio Armani opted for an overwhelming plethora of different styles for the next colder months, treating us to an 81-piece collection that is all about variety, indeed.
Italian icon Giorgio Armani began his runway show unveiling what could be probably regarded as the collection’s more low-key, yet always terrifically elegant and tailored proposals, which consisted of Twenties and Thirstiest-inspired outfits made of structured, often cropped jackets, roomy trousers and long, A-line skirts, all dipped in rather neutral colors, at times revamped by bolder accessories, such as red dangling earrings and red lace-up shoes.
The collection’s first part also quickly introduced us to one of the line-up’s absolute must-have accessories – the bowler hat, which we bet will be on everyone’s Instagram feed in the next six months.
The Giorgio Armani fall/winter 2017-18 collection’s second part, on the other hand, took the standard Giorgio Armani elegance and translated it to its bolder counterpart, which consisted of similar mannish/Roaring Twenties-inspired styles, yet filtered through a more jocose lens, which in return harmoniously played with color-blocking patterns and contrasting fabrics.
Here Giorgio Armani gave his highly welcomed point of view on the velvet trend, refining everything from the double-breasted jackets to the pencil trousers with one of the industry’s most loved/hated materials. This part also introduced us to some of Milan Fashion Week’s most covetable coat proposals ever, which is no small feat indeed, considering the imposing amount of jackets, anoraks and coats that have been showcased at this fashion week so far.
As for the show’s grand finale, instead of solely focusing on standard evening proposals, designer Giorgio Armani had fun mix-and-matching mannish-inspired styles with more conventionally feminine ones, alternating long, red carpet-ready frocks with elegant tuxedos and juvenile hybrids of suit jackets and embroidered bombers.
Last but not least, Armani’s care for the detailing and accessories is definitely worth mentioning, too. Bowler hats aside, Giorgio Armani’s take on the winter season was extremely eclectic and multi-faceted, with basically any handbag size and shoe style having been covered and ready to be used during the next fall/winter seasons. Like the clothing line, here Armani made sure anyone could find something suitable and ready to be worn, ultimately reaching even the kind of target audience he doesn’t usually intrigue.
