It might be only spring for us, but all of the luxury fashion houses are already debuting their Fall 2018 campaigns. In the fashion world everything moves so fast, so if you want to stay on top you have to be innovative and unique. It doesn’t seem that Saint Laurent is having a problem with any of that. The high-end label just released the photos from their Fall 2018 campaign. And who else to better present new releases than a popular celebrity. To make things even better, Saint Laurent tapped two trending names for their most recent campaign.
In the course of two weeks, the label released shots with Zoe Kravitz and Kaia Gerber as the leading roles. In the most recent ones, we have the honor to see the gorgeous Zoe flaunting Anthony Vaccarello’s stunning fall pieces. The actress/singer shows off her bold buzz cut in sky-high boots with an eye-catching cheetah print. The super-short embellished shorts are a standout element in her look, with a great chance of them being sold-out within days in the upcoming season. The outfit is finished off with a military-style coat, embellished on the collars and the bottom trim of the sleeves.
All of the shots are done in black and white by the photography genius David Sims. Alastair McKimm is the stylist behind the chic looks of Kravitz. As an addition to the photos, Saint Laurent also released a short film with Zoe as the leading protagonist. In it, she makes some sultry moves to the seductive sounds of “Venus in Furs” by the Velvet Underground. The actress was announced as the brand’s beauty ambassador last year in July. Since then, she also starred in Saint Laurent’s Spring 2018 campaign. It seems that she’s the perfect match to represent Vaccarello’s visions. Zoe’s personal style is very close to what the designer creates.
Kaia’s part in the ads debuted last week. The gorgeous 16-year-old daughter of Cindy Crawford walked two of Saint Laurent’s runway shows and now scored a role in their official campaigns. Once again shot by David Sims and styled by Alistair McKimm, Gerber’s looks feature a more western vibe.
Ever since Anthony Vaccarello joined the label, he transformed it into one of the most sought-after brands with numerous celebrity collaborations. His edgy esthetics is what makes Millennials want to get more and more of what Saint Laurent offers.

The prism roots is a creation that came naturally after her client gave her freedom to do whatever she wants with her hair. The hairstylist started off by bleaching her hair to a platinum blonde. Next, she had to focus on the roots. Although she didn’t color all of her client’s hair, the prism roots dye job was still not easy to achieve. Kristina made a horseshoe-shaped parting on the top and colored it in silver. According to Cheeseman, this was the “veil” of the rainbow. Next, she placed neon colors horizontally on the bottom sections of her client’s hair. The process took “only” 3 hours just because her client’s hair was previously pre-lightened on her ends. According to Cheeseman, if she had to do this as well, the process would have lasted twice as long.
The neon-hued rainbow roots hair is sure not an effortless dye job. Anyway, one of the biggest advantages of this vibrant trend is that it looks very different on different hairstyles. The makeup guru is dropping a collection of 14 brand new Lust lip glosses. These are the first lip products of this type from her eponymous brand Pat McGrath Labs. Just like before, the renowned artist used the most powerful social media platform, Instagram, to announce the release.
“Basically, I was obsessed with Lip Fetish and I’ve always been obsessed with balms and everything. I wanted to have something really comfortable and easy and fun to wear the way that a lip balm is. The fact that it’s non-sticky, the fact that there’s a little oil in [the formula] gives you that comfort. It’s just so easy to apply. You saw it backstage at Valentino, which was the first time that we used it. It just really freshens your look; it’s easy and perfect now for spring. This is just my little gift to everyone.”- Pat said during a press event.
It seems that glossy lips are a trending thing in the world of makeup right now. McGrath and her brand are known for high-quality products, so there isn’t a single doubt that these lip glosses will succeed all of your expectations. The collection features 14 shades, all super glossy and pigmented. Most of them are packed with delicate shimmer that will transform your pout in a standout feature. Some of the lip glosses come in statement hues, while others are clear but with an intense sparkly finish. The shade range includes soft pink, peachy, red, mauve, gold, burgundy, plum and more.
This time, McGrath brought a novelty in the packaging. She listened to all the fans who adore the sequin-infused packaging but had a lot of problems with cleaning up after opening their goodies. According to most Pat McGrath Labs product owners, those sequins make a real mess. That is why the popular artist introduced a new design that traps the sequins inside and divides them from the lip glosses.
You can expect the full 14-shade Lust collection to launch on May 10 at patmcgrath.com and May 17 at sephora.com. It may be time to give the matte lips a break and splurge on Pat’s latest releases. The singles will cost $28, while the full collection of 14 lip glosses will cost $325. There are also sets of four, divided into warm and cool tones, available for $95.
