Maaji Rhapsody Road Summer 2016 Swimwear
It is magic at Maaji as the swimwear collection for the spring season of 2016 is unveiled with gusto. The Maaji Rhapsody Road 2016 swimwear collection in of itself has been divided into seven parts, made to please every type of female around. The winter weather might seem lovely and the snow definitely beautiful so long as the weather stays in around 0 degrees Celsius, but it is the beach, the idea of boating, the love for the sun and the surf, and everything in between that grabs at our passion and refuses to let go. We are in love with the spring and summer and looking forward to shedding off the layers and donning on those suits before we take a dive in crystal clear waters, allowing the coolness of the liquid to refresh our sun-soaked bodies.
The Maaji 2016 swimwear collection has some rather incredible looks actually.
#1: On the Way to the Summit
Here we see white a few greens and blues, aqua and moss, color combinations that have the paisley effect to them and end up looking positively stunning. We see dresses to pull over the swimsuits as well as surfer girl long sleeve tops, cheeky bottoms and strapless pieces, racerback pushups and body hugging shorts; we notice casual clothing in the form of floral print pants, dresses and lace back kimonos, everything more or less appearing in a blue or green shade, with a touch of yellow here and there.
#2: Stops Along Pacific Coast
Since the coastline is taken to heart here, we notice the cobalt blue of the waters and designs that remind us of waves, despite them not depicting it exactly. There are lace-back crop tops, shalwar-style trousers, racerback dresses, lacy embroidered rompers, strapless swimsuit tops, tees and flowing skirts, cheeky under the sea style swimwear pushing up the bust, casual pieces in light denim and pale pinks and lots of bikini sets that come in cobalt blue, periwinkle, bright aqua and with pink or coral designs. The main appeals here other than the color are the strapless and the lace-back pieces.
#3: Under the Moon’s Shadow
The colors here have darker tones, with grey bases and some white accents, matte blues appearing here and there, stripes and low cut bikinis ruling this one, with a whole lot of cover-ups. There are even single piece swimsuits here to complement the bikini lineup that has a lot of bondage strapping going on.
#4: Watermelon Smoothie House
If you are a girlie girl, this part of the Maaji Rhapsody Road 2016 swimwear collection should be perfect for you, what with the excess of pink and combinations with blues happening. We see see-through dresses and skirts that fall to the ankles, lace-back crop tops and cheeky bottoms, fringed ponchos and lacy rompers, all the while complemented with a whole lot of floral prints on each and every piece. It is spring and summer and happy days with this line.
#5: Banana Valley
Pale pink, shades of green and blue and lots of yellow. That is what creates the delights of this line, with lace pants, full length dresses with embroidered backs, lace edged shorts, bustier tie-back tops, one-piece swimsuits, and still a whole lot more lace makes up the majority of the presentation. We are positively in love with the laced up and bondage style racerback bikini sets though!
#6: Lilac Chevy Rides
Dark blue, yellow and shades of pink help create a mosaic tile style collection here, complete with short sleeve lace embroidered kimonos, surfer girl tops, laced up tops with cheeky bottoms, lacy zip-ups, long dresses and floral print shorts, and a touch of denim. The girls here have charm, the pieces are feminine and we love the purple effects seen throughout. Frills and lace define the Lilac Chevy Rides.
#7: Peachy Sunset Watch
It is literally like watching a sunset, with peach and coral and yellow and orange, blues and greens and a spectacular array of designs. The bodies are beautifully contoured, the strapless reappears, the long sleeves continue on, and the focus is on the print, along with the gorgeous sunset colored bikini sets. Stunning just doesn’t cut it in this case…
