Valentino Couture Fall/Winter 2014-2015 Collection
We are in love again! And once more it’s the Valentino collection that drives us out of mind! Inspired by Pre-Raphealite art, the spanking-new Valentino Couture fall/winter 2014-2015 collection is just the most amazing and chicest thing that we’ve ever seen! Elegance, grace, charm, femininity, and chic are all conglomerated into a single fashion line, which has just everything to make any look complete and just mind-blowingly beautiful. The general principles of the design and styling of the looks is also remarkable, at times forming the most delicate and subtle silhouettes that we could ever think of. “Pagan goddesses, Imperial Rome, with a truth about beauty,” Maria Grazia Chiuri tried to best describe the designer duo’s attitude toward this magical line.
The Valentino Couture fall/winter 2014-2015 collection starts with absolutely dumbfounding black and white color plays, presenting probably the best and the most stylish design solutions with this ethereal duo. Design patterns resembling florals, leather belts fastened around the waistline, plunge V-curves and sandals are all in for this amazing range of looks. The all-black looks and the uber delicate transparency plays created with semi-transparent black fabrics and similar design patterns form the next exquisite range of looks.
Quilted patterns form the stylish with traditionally classic array of apparel options, yet preserving the black and white concentration. Further, we should also note the interesting color transitions of the coming looks, thus featuring some all-creamy, all-red and all-blue dresses, all designed with a basic minimalistic approach, the stylish flair being secured with the creative draping.
Then, after a range of some more monochrome looks we also noticed some asymmetrical and glittery pieces here, again coming combined with leather details and spiced up with some stripy transparencies and color plays of blue and black. Golden textures both with matte and shimmery variants formed the next range, having even more diversified and cool looks. The graphical patterns, sweet and subtle florals and glittery brocade-resembling design prints can’t be missed out of the list either.
However, it’s the multi-layered drapings with chiffon that finish up the Valentino Couture fall/winter 2014-2015 collection, turning into wonderful exemplars of feminine pieces, encompassing design solutions like crisscrossed patterns and plunge V-curves. So just have a single look at any of the pieces included in this magnificent collection and you will be stunned to death once more, as it always happens with Valentino collections. The height this brand has reached has been preserved and even surpassed greatly once more and we just love that!
