Tibi Fall/Winter 2013-2014 RTW – New York Fashion Week
Looking gorgeous on special occasions wearing a breathtaking evening dress is much easier than having a super-voguish, enviable appearance every day you are going out of house. And this task becomes twice as difficult especially in the cold season of fall, when it’s gloomy outside and most of us get somehow depressed, having no desire to pay attention to our style. The newest Tibi fall/winter 2013-2014 collection demonstrated during New York Fashion Week comes to show pretty awesome daywear casual looks that mix sportswear touches with nineties utilitarian vibes and smart layering techniques. This is when, you have no excuse for looking unaesthetic, as the newest Tibi collection is a perfect inspiration source for a myriad of fabulous fall outfits.
In an interview with Fashionista backstage before the Tibi fall/winter 2013-2014 show, the creative director of the fashion house, Amy Smilovic tried to explain her newest collection, by saying: “It’s a lot about daywear this season. We really wanted to nail: What do you wear during the day and look amazing and fabulous in. It has a bit of 80s, it has a bit of 90s. It has a lot of utilitarianism to it. It’s a very sporty and very wearable collection.”
And let’s agree that Tibi always manages to do sportswear the best. As a result, the Tibi fall/winter 2013-2014 collection brings an array of unique and stylish dresses, sweatshirts, pants, shorts and skirts, which can be put together or with other clothing pieces, resulting into lust-worthy casual looks. The line features mainly black and white colors with subtle pops of cobalt blues, greens and khakis. Most of the looks are monochromatic, yet there we can also see abstract dotted patterns that look so chic on the background of cobalt blue and green.
The Tibi fall/winter 2013-2014 collection brings cool oversized coats, boxy T-shirts, moto-jackets, skinny pants, asymmetrical pencil skirts, knitted sweaters with leather inserts and so on. When it comes to the new season Tibi accessories, think thigh-high boots and strappy heeled sandals. Draw inspiration from the mesmerizing looks and get ready to mesmerize this fall!
