Net-a-Porter and Chloé Launch an Exclusive Capsule Collection
The online luxury shopping website Net-a-Porter and the French brand Chloé have a close relationship. They have collaborated on 5 collections so far. Their latest collection was celebrated with an exclusive party on Wednesday night. Many A-listers and Chloé girls were there to mark another successful collaboration.
The house party with a theme “An Evening Under the Stars” was held in a townhouse in Greenwich Village. The all-time favorite Chloé girls Olivia Palermo, Hilary Rhoda, Danielle Snyder, Casey Fremont and Clara McGregor attended the party. As expected most of the guests wore designs by the French brand. Dj Vashtie Kola entertained the guests as they sipped on their Aperol and vodka cocktails.
“How can we surprise and delight our customer and offer her something she can’t get anywhere else? We thought about the Chloé girl mixed with the Net-a-Porter woman, and what would really resonate while evoking the spirit of summer.”- said Alison Loehnis, Net-a-Porter’s director, in order to explain the purpose of the collection.
The exclusive capsule collection has 26 pieces and it is the biggest so far for Chloé and Net-a-Porter. The clothes are in a light, bohemian style, perfect for the hot summer days. The main inspiration for the line was Ibiza in the ‘70s. All of the designs are light and flowy, very modern and sophisticated. Some of the must-have dresses include a floral metallic one, a white chiffon one, and a cozy linen one. The accessories are just what we have expected, chic and boho-styled. The embroidered poncho is the go-to item for chilly summer days. The bags are very Chloé and unique at the same time.
There are also three new shoe styles. The bow-detailed leather sandals are available both in a flat and heeled version. Prices for the shoes range from $645 to $970.
“Ibiza and Pacha in the Seventies very much captures the brand’s bohemian spirit as well as the ‘feel good’ mood of the Balearic island. This capsule perfectly exemplifies Chloé’s feminine cool aesthetic and is our biggest and best yet,” Holly Russell, senior buyer at Net-a-Porter, told the Telegraph.
This is the first collection for Chloé’s new creative director Natacha Ramsay-Levi. The promotional video titled “Come Away with Chloé” shows a major part of the exclusive collection and Julia Stegner stars in it. The designs are already available online on Net-a-Porter’s site.
