Emporio Armani Fall/Winter 2015-2016 Collection – Milan Fashion Week
Emporio Armani itself features the trendy ready to wear collections focusing on all that is modern and with its eye constantly on the Milan Fashion Week. It is still mainly designed by Giorgio Armani himself. The Emporio Armani boutiques are quite popular around the world, appearing in Amman, Bahrain, Jeddah, Lima, Buenos Aires, Yerevan, Jakarta and Bangkok. Titled “Crossing Colors”, the Emporio Armani fall/winter 2015-2016 collection presented at Milan Fashion Week makes it into stores quickly enough, from the grey and the navy to the pinkish red hues, the stronger fiery colors and the violet combos.
Armani… It is an Italian fashion brand founded by Giorgio Armani and Sergio Galeotti in Milan, Italy exactly on July 24, 1975. It is also the name of a country that is today known as Armenia but in ancient Akkadian scriptures referred to as Armani. What it means? The land of the people of the sun and boy does the sun seem to shine bright on this Italian version, the name of an ancient country turned into one of the best clothing brands in the world. Offering a wide selection of haute couture, ready to wear and leather fashions, along with shoes, fragrances, watches, jewelry, accessories, eyewear, cosmetics and home interior pieces, this is one company that has made it to the top with plenty of gusto. The brand has gotten so big that there are plans to create a chain of luxury hotels and resorts offering everything Armani, building on its successful café, bar and nightclub ventures. Cities like Milan, Paris, New York, London, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Shanghai, Seoul, and Dubai will be seeing a lot more of the Armani fashion house’s influence soon enough, straying into markets outside of the fashion world alone.
It might do well to mention the beauty trends seen on the catwalk as Emporio Armani models walked out in a flurry. This includes the Little Annie style short hair, sans the ringlets, the feathery unkempt bangs and the almost boyish looks. There seems to be a lot of masculine going on of late and Armani’s no different, though the large red rimmed sunglasses bring in a touch of femininity to the looks. The red lips also do the job well enough, despite the pale features and lack of other makeup giving the women a rather vampiric touch.
The last dress of the Emporio Armani fall/winter 2015-2016 collection might make for a very nice pregnancy piece, all in black with a feathery coat on top, the chest with a half-moon curve and ruffles against the skin and the hem falling to just below the knees. Those satin wide legged cropped trousers with their high waistlines are intriguing enough as well, though the velvety tops do a little more in adding a touch of sexy to the mix than any of the other pieces. We have ruffles along the shoulder and ruffles along the waist, but it is the fabric itself that gives the pieces their gorgeous allure, particularly the little black dress with the deep V plunging neckline and the fluttering skirts just above the knee, double scrunched bows falling to the hemline. The black velvet is what has brought Armani up on top of the fashion lists for the fall and winter seasons.
