Cacharel Spring/Summer 2015 Collection – Paris Fashion Week
An explosion of pretty pastels and summery florals! This is the best definition of the cute and super-girly Cacharel spring/summer 2015 collection that has just got unveiled in the framework of Paris Fashion Week spring 2015. Inspired from the beautiful Bagatelle Gardens in France, Cacharel delivered what can be called a pure embodiment of nature. This is perhaps the cutest and girliest collection presented for spring 2015 so far, and what makes these lovely garments so special is the ultimate wearability and the big diversity when it comes to mix and matching and creating unique looks.
The entire Cacharel spring/summer 2015 collection is imbued with pastels, ranging from sky blue and pistachio green to pale peach, lilac and light yellow. There we surely also saw summer’s most iconic shades – whites, looking so innocent and pure on those flirty pieces. Mixing these powdery shades with lots of florals (both embroidery and prints and patterns), Cacharel managed to create a collection that was screaming romantic spring, which any girly fashioniser would love to live forever. The florals were put on those pastel backgrounds mainly in the smudged, watercolor form, looking way more realistic and artistic. Some delicate vertical stripes and dreamy star prints joined this beautiful print story, making the entire collection perfect to bits.
All those girly pastel tones and florals, of course, were to be used for creating playful and feminine silhouettes, ones that we all want to pull off. There you can discover a lovely knee-length white strappy dress in romantic lace with delicate floral patchwork that made it the cutest thing in the collection. The same technique was applied to a slightly transparent white shirt, which looked equally romantic and sophisticated. Next, the collection shows a beautiful color-blocked (peach and white) straight structured coat, and a sleeveless peach one topping a straight peach skirt and a lace white top. These looks make perfect summer office attire options, however, can also be sported on the daily basis.
For special occasion, the Cacharel spring/summer 2015 collection has something cute and spectacular too, like that bandeau-style full-skirt gown smudged with some oversized watercolor florals or the floral-printed maxi dress. Some designs were monochrome, yet still cute, like those colorful knee-length dresses.
To slightly break the floral theme of the collection, Cacharel also presented cute mini full cotton skirts with florals matched with striped boyish shirts, star-printed pieces and a striped strappy dress. The collection also did feature crepe – the material that was first introduced by Cacharel in the 1960s.
The pleasant surprise that the Cacharel spring/summer 2015 collection brings is a reduced price tag applied to all the pieces presented. As the designer noted, this is already the second collection with new prices, also adding: “We are focusing on exploring more ready to wear rather than couture.” It was, actually, ready to wear and ready to stun everyone around!
