Victoria Beckham To Launch Second Estee Lauder Makeup Collection & A Skin Care Line
Victoria Beckham’s full-of-surprise autumn is not over yet, as according to WWD, the fashion icon not only is about to launch her second Estee Lauder makeup collection, but is also working on a separate skin care line that will hit stores in the months to come. Such news is surely refreshing for those who did not manage to get one of Beckham’s very first Estee Lauder makeup products, as they flew off the shelves in a few hours and were limited edition.
The Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder makeup pieces launched earlier this September and got featured during the Victoria Beckham spring/summer 2017 runway show in New York as well, which hyped the whole collection, for sure. Among the makeup line’s bestseller products were highlighters and lipsticks, with the latter mostly featuring sophisticated nude shades.
Although the news has yet to be confirmed by both Victoria Beckham and Estee Lauder, we bet their second makeup collaboration will surely feature similar high quality and richly pigmented products, which, of course, will fly off the shelves within minutes again.
As reported by WWD, “Victoria Beckham’s burgeoning beauty business is poised to grow next year thanks to a second cosmetics capsule collection with the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. and a skin-care line with another partner, according to market sources;” and we all know that whenever a source spills the beans to WWD, rumors become “yet to be revealed” facts.
Back in August, in fact, both Estee Lauder and Beckham released positive comments regarding their capsule makeup collection, instantly making us wonder whether they were ever going to repeat the experience or not. Given the fact that the collection helped both Estee Lauder and Victoria Beckham increase their sales, the second Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder makeup collection appears to be an almost natural follow-up.
“I hope this collection does go on,” said Victoria Beckham back in August. “If something is enormously successful — in London or Paris or New York — we have the opportunity to bring it back — maybe have it sold exclusively online. We’ll see how it goes.”
As for a possible Victoria Beckham makeup line, such a decision and venture could be extremely refreshing for the designer, whose latest creations helped her eponymous line focus on a broader target audience. With the Nineties being all the rage now, and Victoria Beckham being a sort of beauty guru medium between this decade and the current one, a makeup line that sells exclusively online might indeed become one of Beckham’s ultimate successes.
