Oscars 2016 Best Dressed Celebrities
The date February 28, 2016 was announced to see the most honorable figures in the cinematography to take home the most prestigious Oscar statuettes as the symbol of their excellent achievements in the sphere. The 88th Academy Awards ceremony is already a wrap, hosted by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Leonardo Di Caprio was undoubtedly the ruler of the night, whose Oscar winning fact for the Best Actor in the film The Revenant earned unanimous praise and gratification. You finally did it, boy! The Best Actress of the night was Brie Larson for her amazing performance in the drama film Room. The biographical crime drama film Spotlight took the Oscar for the Best Picture, while the Best Director of the year was announced to be Alejandro G. Iñárritu for The Revenant.
We, of course, highly appreciate the art of motion picture photography, but there is also another branch of art we want so much to marvel at. 1. Cate Blanchett in Armani Privé
Cate Blanchet didn’t take that desirable Oscar statuette for the Best Actress nomination, but we know it for sure that it would have looked super harmonious with her Armani Privé amazing aquamarine gown covered with myriads of realistic flowers and embellished with Swarovski crystals. Her jewelry choice stopped on Tiffany & Co bracelet and earrings.
2. Alicia Vikander in Louis Vuitton
The Danish Girl Alicia Vikander, who took the Best Supporting Actress award, was wearing a custom Louis Vuitton gown in bleached yellow shade, gilded with multiple silver sequins spread here and there in splashes.

Jennifer Lawrence’s delicate flair for style was manifested yet again last night, when she appeared on the red carpet wowing everyone with her black lace gown from Dior Couture wrapping her whole essence with somewhat dramatic glory.

The amazing blonde Charlize Theron is finally back from her apocalyptic appearance in Mad Max: Fury Road and is standing in front of us with all her attention-grabbing allure decked into a scarlet Dior mermaid dress, registering far the deepest plunging neckline through the prominent night. Lady Gaga shocked us not only with her emotional vocal, but also with her strapless all-white outfit from Brandon Maxwell literally stuck between a gown and a jumpsuit. It was really surprising to see Lady Gaga not to shock us with her eccentric looks, but rather bedazzle us with this minimalist, yet elegant outfit.

True to the form, Julianne Moore was amazing as ever, decked out in an exquisite all black gown from Chanel Couture with several sparkling divisions on the bodice. She’s always on the best dressed lists when it comes to red carpet fashion, so she couldn’t but appear among the best dressed celebrities at the 2016 Oscars.
7. Heidi Klum in Marchesa
Heidi Klum gave her preference to Marchesa aesthetics appearing in a lavender blush gown with one sleeve, two realistic floral details and somewhat smoky allure.
8. Olivia Wilde in Valentino Couture
Olivia Wilde’s pleated apron dress from Valentino Couture was amazing, especially those body showing cleavages on the bodice and on the back standing in pretty effective contrast with the full skirt.
9. Naomi Watts in Armani
The stunning Australian blonde Naomi Watts could undoubtedly take the most sparkling celeb award last night with her Armani form-fitting sequined gown in night blue, tinged with some purple strokes and sparkling in all possible directions.
10. Rooney Mara in Givenchy Couture
Rooney Mara’s ivory choice from Givenchy Couture was body hugging, with a sensual diamond-shaped cleavage on the belly and a sky-high slit in the center.
