Jennifer Lopez for V Magazine Sports Issue
Jennifer Lopez is really gorgeous, beautiful and super talented. She is everywhere and wherever she is, she is the best. The 42-year-old diva has tried her hands at almost everything, from singing to dancing, acting and more, and whatever she does, she does it really at the best. Now J. Lo graces the cover of V Magazine’s 76 spring 2012 issue, showing off her tough girl side, while wearing some provocative masculine boxer briefs, sexy cropped tops, lingerie, as well as a pair of boxer gloves. V Magazine’s ‘Lady Champ’ is also talking about her personal life, her career, her failures, her family, her Latin background, that she has been raised as a tough boxer and more.
Her struggle to launch herself in the music industry was certainly tough, anyways Jennifer Lopez managed to become internationally famous. Styled by former French Vogue editor-in-chief Carine Roitfeld, and lensed by talented photographer Mario Testino, Jennifer looks both fierce and strong, but also seductive and simply sizzling in V Magazine’s Sports issue. Her clicked back hair fits her a lot and quite differs from the looks she has got us used to.
Now Jennifer Lopez is also a part of a Latin American talent search show called Q’Viva, alongside her ex-husband Marc Anthony. About Latin community, she tells the magazine that: “There are so many differences in the Latin community. Someone from Mexico and someone from Puerto Rico have different foods, different traditions. There’s an education to be had. Even as I was going through the different countries, there were certain forms of music that I didn’t know about.”
On the relationship with her ex-husband Marc Anthony, who is also the father of her twins, Max and Emme, Jennifer stated that the two are parents before anything else. They have been very civil during and after their separation and it seems like nothing changed in the meanwhile. Jennifer says that: “I mean, we’re parents and friends first. That will be the thread that ties us together. I don’t know if people expect it to be negative just because the relationship didn’t work out.”
In the entertainment industry Jennifer has managed to go always up, however there were also cases, when she was much critiqued. With her first fashion label and ‘Back Up Plan’ movie role being highly critiqued, she has understood that it’s not always that you win and satisfy everybody. She says: “You’re not going to hit the target or the bull’s-eye every time. That’s part of it. At the end of the day, I made those choices. I’ve been in the business now, I don’t want to say how many years. You have amazing moments of recognition and success. But at this point in my life, I try to take it all with a grain of salt.”
Actually, it wasn’t that difficult for Ms. Lopez to channel her inner boxer for the magazine, as the fact that she was raised in the Bronx says already much about her strong and tough character. She says that: “I can take a lot of punches and still keep going. I’ve been trained like a boxer to go 15 rounds.”
