So for doing this mind-blowing gray smokey eyes look, you need to have the following makeup products and tools:
• Makeup base, foundation, concealer
• Eyebrow kit
• Eye primer and a base
• Eyeshadows in champagne, dark gray, black and nude
• Green loose pigment
• Black and white eye pencils
• Black eyeliner
• Black mascara
• False eyelashes
• Fuchsia lipstick
• Makeup brushes
The steps of the glossy gray smokey eye makeup tutorial go as follows!
Step 1: As a rule, start from the base, camouflaging your face and making it maximum perfect. For this, you need to apply a makeup base on your fresh face (choose it according to your skin type) and then a foundation over it. If you feel the need of using concealer for hiding any problem areas, go for it! Finish the base of your makeup with a loose powder and a soft blush hue.
Step 2: Like your face, your eyebrows should be ideal too. Therefore go for an eyebrow kit to fill in your brows, in case you aren’t granted with thick and beautiful ones.
Step 3: We start our favorite part of the entire makeup application process: eye makeup! Add the primer and the base all over your eyelids. Apply a white pigment with golden reflex to the inner corner of our lid going a bit out to the lid part.
Step 4: Apply a shimmery champagne eyeshadow. Use a dark gray color on the outer part of your lid (Pose from Anastasia Beverly Hills Catwalk Palette). Next, apply a black color to the root of your lashes (LBD from the same palette).
Step 5: Smoothly blend the same dark gray color upper in the crease line, and for a flawless finish use a nude color for blending it (Day Rate from the same palette). Create a sharp wing in the outer part of your lid, using concealer to even out the edges and to clean excessive colors.
Step 6: Highlight the outer part of your lower lash line with a black eye pencil and blend it for a slightly smokey effect. Apply some glitter glue to the inner part of your lower lid, and then use a green loose pigment over it. This will create a beautiful contrast with the monotone gray look.
Step 7: Apply a white eye pencil to your waterline. Line your upper lid with black gel eyeliner. Apply several coats of black mascara and opt for false eyelashes, in case you want to rock this gorgeous smokey eye makeup look to special occasions and parties.
Step 8: Since wholly your eye makeup is kind of neutral, you can match it with bright lips for a totally bewitching effect. In this case we have used a bright fuchsia color (Sleek True Color Lipstick in Amped).
You can wear this gray smokey eye makeup on the daily basis too, when matched it with just a transparent lip-gloss or a nude lipstick. Otherwise nail it down the way it is on special occasions and shine bright like a star!
