Coco Rocha for Longchamp Spring/Summer 2013 Campaign
In the long holiday season, we are so thrilled to get acquainted with the upcoming fashion trends and the newest fashion campaigns. Legendary French brand Longchamp goes ahead and makes the spring/summer 2013 season even more colorful and loveable by unveiling the newest Longchamp spring/summer 2013 collection of stunning handbags. Guess who stars in the newest Longchamp spring/summer 2013 campaign! Of course, Canadian bombshell Coco Rocha, who has been the face of the brand for three successive seasons already! Moreover, the legendary fashion house brings yet another amazing surprise: famous choreographer Salim Gauwloos, who is best known for his work with Madonna, makes the models dance by teaming up with the brand for the campaign.
The Longchamp spring/summer 2013 campaign was shot by Max Vadukul at the former TWA terminal at New York’s JFK airport, where Coco Rocha and Liisa Winkler are pictured dancing through the airport security and carrying iconic Longchamp handbags, such as the Longchamp 3D, the LM cuir line, the Gatsby Sport, as well as the recently launched Longchamp shoes and clothing pieces.
Talking about the source of inspiration of the collection, Gauwloos told WWD that: “I was inspired by the image of the Longchamp woman, who is funny, free and sure of herself, and then I worked all these elements into a disco choreography. We worked through the steps with Coco and Liisa, who are both fabulous women and actresses, and everything clicked — the energy was palpable.”
The Longchamp spring/summer 2013 campaign is set to be unveiled in print, on billboard and the Web in January 2013. The video of the campaign will be released on the brand’s official page, at longchamp.com, on February 12, 2013 to mark the launch of the brand’s new website, which is a digital flagship.
