Les Parfums Louis Vuitton: Louis Vuitton Is Launching A Perfume Line!
Louis Vuitton as a brand is synonymous with luxury. As Louis Vuitton is no doubt a high-end brand, we expect nothing else from this brand’s perfume but luxurious scents in multiple profiles and that is exactly what we are getting. The collection Les Parfums Louis Vuitton explores seven different olfactory emotions and was diligently researched and created by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud.
After being named Louis Vuitton’s Maitre Parfumeur in 2012, and the first in house perfumer for the iconic brand, Jacques Cavallier Belletrud spent four years travelling the world in order to perfect each of the seven individual scents in this highly anticipated collection. He was challenged to rewrite the olfactory universe of Louis Vuitton and he rose to the challenge beautifully.
Jacques sourced out the roots and legacy of Louis Vuitton, described as building the future with what he gained from his search in the past. The future regarding this incredibly anticipated perfume line from Louis Vuitton is bright, with the idea that each of the seven included fragrances offers a memory, invitation, an impression and an invisible olfactory-only signature that matches the aesthetic of the brand. Each of the curated Louis Vuitton fragrances is unique and transporting, with a smooth easy to wear scent.
There is a history of Louis Vuitton fragrances. The debut fragrance, Heures d’Absence came in 1927 followed by a trio fragrance in 1928 called Je, Tu and Il. The triplicate premiered in an interesting and beautiful set of stacked bottle in a cylindrical container. Later, after World War II they released two new scents. In 1946 Louis Vuitton released Eau de Voyage and Reminiscence. Louis Vuitton definitely has a history filled with style, but also filled with scents.
Today, we have the new Louis Vuitton perfume collection to fawn over, and the variety is varied and ideal and Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud did his research and turned up to show what the Louis Vuitton brand is about. Working with top quality materials, like Jasminum Sambac, Magnolio and Osmathus, keeps the quality of the perfume on the top shelf.
The ad campaign includes videos and photos that explain and showcase the development and final feel of the Louis Vuitton Les Parfums collection. The scents included in the collection are: Rose des Vents, which has a light airiness to it, Turbulences designed to be wholly intoxicating, Dans la Peau is said to be reminiscent of the ecstasy of a first night, Apogee represents an immersion in nature, Contre Moi is supposed to be self revealing and an exploration of the darker side is in store with Matiere Noire, finishing with Mille Feux, which is supposed to be an explosion of the sense.
The Louis Vuitton perfumes will be available for $240 (100ml) to $350 (200ml) each, while there is also a three-bottle set available that costs a whopping $5000! The bottles are refillable at very chic parfum fountains that also helps with conservation, though the cost of the refills at these fountains will range from $150 to $300.
The journey with these scents is set and designed to describe an emotional journey. You’ll find yourself on a similar journey just from the video so the scents themselves are supposed to be nearly revolutionary.
