A Sneak Peek Into Mango’s ’70s Inspired Pre-Fall Line
This year is all about the 1970s fashion, the styles that really blew us away and made us fall in love with the world of fashion. We loved the leather and the suede, the denim and the bell bottom pants. We’ve seen the spring and summer months full of the ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§70s designs and we have loved every second of it. It appears as if the fall and winter follow suit. This certainly means that the pre-fall 2015 collections are also very much focused on the time period where peace signs and floral motifs reigned supreme. All major and minor fashion labels have fallen into this trend and have come up with precious line-ups that are appealing to the senses, tantalizing in the nostalgia and fun memories of the period. While it may not be summer yet, it appears that most brands are moving on to the next few seasons, some even releasing their 2016 resort and cruise collections from now. Mango is certainly one of the more moderate labels that has newly come up with its pre-fall line-up and is feeling the ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§70s like no other, bringing in the fringe, the denim skirts, the lace and minimalist take on the fashionable looks with full force! And how can we not fall in love with the Spanish chain and its affordable pricing. While most top labels are unreachable for the likes of us, Mango forever remains the average woman’s best friend, coming in with all the best trends of the season without the exorbitant price tags that a mortgage on the house might be needed in order to be able to afford.
So what does the latest Mango 2015 pre-fall collection include?
A whole lot of denim skirts, for one! While we may totally love the A-line flowing summer dresses from the spring and summer collection, it is the denim skirt that really catches our eye, particularly with the convenience of buttons up the center of the garment, the hem normally falling to mid-thigh or lower. They have a sex appeal that other skirts do not, while still giving the wearer a more innocent, youthful feeling. The new collection also includes a denim dress in the same trend and we are itching to get our hands on it!
A whole lot of fringe continues into the fall. Fringed suede dresses that are Cowgirl meets modern Western combinations thrown over distressed white denim seem to be quite the look in this Mango reveal, the fringes themselves being one of the pillars of the fall fashions for this year. Whether as dresses or skirts, accessories or anything in between, this is a trend that does not stay too far away.
Other than the main denims and the fringes, there are a few other looks we would like to point out, which appear in the Mango pre-fall 2015 collection as well, including the loose, lightweight fabrics used to create tie band mini dresses. We see gorgeous suede wraparound tied belt coats appearing as well. Lace edged miniskirts are in, giving the wearer a very innocent appeal, while ballerina flats with lacing all the way around the ankles and up give us something to fall in love with in the footwear section.
