Massimo Dutti Spring/Summer 2015 Campaign
Photographed by Mario Testino, the gorgeous Massimo Dutti spring/summer 2015 campaign brings soft earth tones to the scene and an effortless chic style we all love so much every season. The spring and summer collections are already out full force, with barely two months left until the first day of the next season. The calm that will be felt once the snows melt and the trees begin to sprout out leaves and lovely booms translates into many a fashion house’s ideal for the perfect 2015 SS collections, the Massimo Dutti fashion house no exception. The Spanish company has taken on multiple trends that mark the New Year and created a line that’s unique, soft on the eyes and equally soft to the touch. Their inspirations come from the world around them, from all that is found through fire, water, air and earth. Everything in nature is about balance and that has been translated into the latest Massimo Dutti spring/summer 2015 collection that features leather, fringes, denims and soft fabrics, in tones of white, safari green, classic creams and brown suede. The women are given a sensual outdoorsy aura, reminiscent of Western wilderness and hunting trips. There’s something rather European about it all, as if the hounds are about to be let out and the fox about to be caught by the party. Of course, the looks are all quite sophisticated and chic, with nothing at all one can find fault in. Between the lovely silk button down shirts and the gladiator sandals, each and every design is as perfectly Massimo Dutti as can be.
The two looks presented in one of the photos of the Massimo Dutti spring/summer 2015 campaign are opposing but complimentary. Where one outfit presented is suited better for the cooler temperatures of spring, the other has taken on summer full force. We’re treated to suede fabrics that look as soft to the touch as they would feel against our skins, with leather handbags in mahogany coloring and very British sophisticated looks. The summer designs are more on the flirty side, with the gladiator sandals laced up to the knees, as well as an ode to the ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§70s while keeping to modern tenacity with suede button-down dresses in hunter’s green coloring. There is something astoundingly sexy about it all, but holding less warmth of passion and more of strong confidence in one’s beauty. The spring looks, on the other hand, appear to be very reminiscent of the typical British colonial outfits we are often faced with on television and in film. Complete with a white silk scarf tied around the neck, a button-down white shirt and white trousers tucked into brown suede boots, this is one chic ensemble that is hard to pass by without at least admiring, if not immediately adding to our personal collections.
Denim is still very much in, trending with the denim on denim look, which makes these Massimo Dutti designs all the more appealing. Brown leather accents in belts, sandals and handbags certainly add to the magic it creates, while the full-length overalls bring to mind the Wild Wild West and all its glory. We can definitely imagine ourselves riding horses and running an Angus beef business while wearing something as stylishly comfortable as the denim jumpsuit.
Gorgeous knit tops long enough for the fringes to cover up most of the khaki shorts underneath look pretty amazing, especially when paired with leather accessories in the form of belts, bracelets and leather thronged gladiator sandals. The whole of the look is fresh, speaking of warm comfort but also a casual chic that`s hard to find these days. Needless to say, we absolutely love it and will be certain to sport this look come next season.
