Versace Spring/Summer 2014 Campaign
You can add this news to the list of the most surprising events in the fashion world. Fabulously unpredictable Lady Gaga is the new face of the luxurious Italian brand Versace, and she has already given us a sneak peek into the brand-new Versace spring/summer 2014 campaign, revealing two photos on her official Facebook account. The first details about this collaboration are already revealed thanks to the Instagram photos of Mert Alas from Mert & Marcus, who shot this fabulous array of images, out of which just two are available so far.
This is not a unilateral cooperation, since we can also see the reflections of it in the works of Lady Gaga, too. Particularly, it’s the new song of hers named “Donatella’ after Versace’s designer, where we can hear some hints about a ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§rich bitch’ who is ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§blonde’ and ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö‚â§skinny’. Talking about this collaboration, Donatella mentioned, “I am honored that my friend Lady Gaga is the face of our new Versace campaign. I wanted to capture her true beauty and spirit in images that are elegant and alluring. She is like family to me, the embodiment of the Versace DNA’.
Lady Gaga in her turn answered to this with a tweet stating, “I’m so happy to be working w/ @Versace for the new Campaign! What do you wanna wear this Spring? #Donatella #famiglia.’
Thus, what we see in the few images available is a total transformation of the crazy style of Lady Gaga. In the first photo, she wears an absolutely glam purple cut-out and cross-folded dress, which is so dramatically feminine and body-con, especially with the sensual looks of Lady Gaga. The luxurious details and Lady Gaga’s super long blonde wig are the most successful finishes for this look. The second option features a cute black little dress with some glittery finishes and a chic Versace handbag.
Thus, we are too impatient to learn more about this fantastic teamwork, and, of course, to see some more photos of the stunning Versace spring/summer 2014 campaign. Don’t forget to check out the entire Versace spring/summer 2014 collection!
