GUESS Fall/Winter 2012-2013 Campaign
It’s time to get a glamorous makeover for the arrival of the new season! The fall fashion trends are so amazing and we can see this well thanks to the unique and beautiful ad campaigns of the famous fashion houses. One of them is GUESS, who decided to show us its stunning creations through a black and white photoshoot done by famous photographer Yu Tsai. Featuring supermodels Meghan Wiggins and Gigi Hadad, the newest GUESS fall/winter 2012-2013 campaign shows a series of lust-worthy, sexy and youthful clothing pieces that perfectly reflect the signature style of the Marciano brothers.
Guess what GUESS has prepared for the new fashion season! It’s all about the glamorous, sexual style, which will turn you into the hottest chick of the season. Think, animal printed mini dresses, body-hugging short skirts, ethereal printed maxi dresses with asymmetrical hemline, smart white shirts, luxurious leopard printed short fur coats, tailored pants, skinny jeans, printed shirts, denim jackets, schoolgirl style pleated skirts and much more. The accessories featured in the GUESS fall/winter 2012-2013 collection are no less impressive. You’ll be just stunned by the animal printed ankle booties, pearl necklaces, bracelets, earrings and belts, leopard printed gloves and black leather gloves, as well as the cute thin belts with bow details.
No wonder, the GUESS fall/winter 2012-2013 campaign thoroughly brings out the trends and gorgeous styles the famous designer duo was trying to show and all this is thanks to Yu Tsai. The renowned photographer works for some other big names too, including Emporio Armani, Clairol, Neiman Marcus, Bebe, BCBG & Apple. He has also created various portfolios for Vanity Fair, Harpers Bazaar UK, Muse, Interview and Vs. In an interview, Yu Tsan talks about first job done for Guess. “They had seen an editorial shoot I had done in a Finnish magazine and called me up,” Tsai said. “From that one-day test came a three-year contract to shoot everything under the Guess umbrella. I traveled to Italy and Dubai. I went to China to open up the first Guess store there. I was a creative director and shooter for them. I still shoot accessories for them. It was amazing to learn about fashion, to learn about denim. To shoot denim, it’s not just lighting; it’s about shaping and really knowing how denim is supposed to fit.”
